Trend arrows and colours

Trend arrows can help you plan and take action to stay in your target range. They estimate the direction in which your blood sugar may be going, based on recent glucose readings. The colour of the glucose value and the direction of the trend arrow provide visual cues:

Rising quickly

Your glucose value is rising quickly (1.7 mmol/L + over the next 15 minutes)

Your glucose value is stable (no change or insignificant change)

Trend color 1_very high_0
Orange - glucose value is very high.
Trend color 2_high_0
Yellow - glucose value is high.

Green - glucose value is in range.
Trend color 4_low_0
Red - glucose value is very low.
Trend color 5_very low_0
Deep red - glucose value is very low.
